SUMMARY:Energy Conference and Exhibition in the Eastern Mediterranean Business Matchmaking Event
DESCRIPTION:We would like to inform you that on 20-21 October 2025\, the leading International Event EMC 2025 – Eastern Mediterranean Conference & Exhibition on Energy topics will take place in our country\, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy\, Trade\, and Industry of Cyprus and with the support of the Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company (CHC). \nThe Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is participating in this event as an Official Partner\, organizing a hybrid Business Matchmaking Event with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network and Digital Innovation Hub Cyprus.  \nThe goal of the business matchmaking event is to provide participants (exhibitors\, conference attendees\, and visitors) with the opportunity to engage in pre-scheduled bilateral meetings\, create new business contacts\, showcase their work\, discuss the development of business\, technology\, and research collaborations\, and gain information and advice on new technologies and solutions. \nWho can participate? \nThe event is open to businesses\, startups\, research institutions\, universities\, local authorities\, and other organizations actively engaged in the following sectors: \n\nExpanding Natural Gas & LNG Markets\nOil and Gas operators / E&P\nSupply of Valves / Actuators / Pump / Piping\nRenewables / Solar / Wind Hybrid / Hydrogen\nHealth / Safety / Environment\n(HSE) Marine Equipment\nDrilling and Completion\nAutomation\nPower supply\nTransportation / Logistics\n\nThe meetings\, each lasting 20 minutes\, will be conducted both in person at a dedicated area of EMC 2025 and remotely (online). \nHow does it work? \nInterested parties should register through the website HERE and create their business profiles by October 15\, 2025. Registration for the B2B event is free. \nAfterwards\, they should search for potential partners from the published list of participants and send meeting invitations. \nFor Visitors\, admission to the EMC 2025 exhibition area is free\, however\, registration is required. DESCRIPTION:We would like to inform you that the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation has  announced the first session of its training on Japanese business culture for 2025. \nSince 1987\, this exclusive 2-week long training programme funded by the European Union helped hundreds of EU entrepreneurs to have a successful presence in Japan. \nThe programme “Get Ready for Japan” aims to help understand Japanese business practices and communication styles as well as help SMEs identify opportunities for successful business partnerships. \nTraining dates: \n\n20-24 October 2025 – online\n10-14 November 2025 – in Tokyo\, Japan\n\nApplication deadline: 4 September 2025 \nMission Content \n\nworkshops\, seminars\ncompanies visits\ntailored meetings with potential new partners\n\nParticipant Profile \n\nManagers and executives\, from small and medium-sized enterprises based in the EU\nThe mission is open to any kind of sector of activity.\n\nSelection Criteria \n\nThe company’s strategy towards Japan.\nThe applicant’s professional background and position within the company.\nThe applicant’s motivation.\n\nTo ensure a high degree of personal attention\, the number of participants in the programme is limited to 14.
