SUMMARY:High-Level Mission to Thailand to Promote Agricultural Products (May 24–28\, 2026)
DESCRIPTION:We would like to inform you that Commissioner Hansen will visit Thailand from May 24- 28\, 2026\, accompanied by a business delegation that will include up to 100 senior executives from European companies and agricultural and food sector producer organizations. \nThis mission will combine official meetings of the Commissioner with government officials\, as well as promotional activities involving the business delegation. These activities will include: \n\nSeminars on local market characteristics and consumer trends\nRetail and site visits\nNetworking opportunities\nParticipation in the Thaifex Anuga Asia fair in Bangkok\, where the EU will host a dedicated pavilion\nVisit to the pavilion\nTargeted B2B meetings with buyers\, importers and retailers from the South-East Asian region\n\nThe entrepreneurs participating in the mission should primarily\, but not exclusively\, represent the following sectors: \n\nMeat production\, processing\, and selling (beef\, pork\, poultry)\nProcessed agricultural products\nDairy products\nWine\, beer\, and alcoholic beverages\nOlive oil\nFruits and vegetables\n\nThe Commissioner wishes to include companies from all EU Member States in the business delegation\, focusing particularly on SMEs with reliable export capacity\, as well as large companies\, and national and European producer organizations from key sectors with significant prospects for trade and cooperation with Thailand. \n  \nParticipation & Financial Obligations:  \n\nSenior executives from producer organizations and individual businesses may\nParticipants must attend the entire\nTravel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the participants\nOnly one person per company/organization can officially participate in the business\nAccompanying members may attend\, but their access to certain events may be restricted due to the size of the mission.\n\nApplication Submission: \nInterested organizations and businesses are invited to complete the online application form by 19th of December 2025\, HERE. \nFor any clarifications\, you can contact the Research Executive Agency (REA) directly via email: \nREA-AGRI-EVENTS@ec.europa.eu. \n  \nSoti Christou Officer CCCI | Department of Services\, Trade and Digitalization Coordinator of Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus Tel. 22889769\, s.christou@ccci.org.cy
