International Business Opportunities for Cypriot SMEs at MWC OPEN INNOVATION CHALLENGE 2026

The Enterprise Europe Network Cyprus invites Cypriot SMEs and startups to participate in the MWC Open Innovation Challenge 2026, an international business matchmaking (B2B) event organized by ACCIÓ, a department of the Catalan Government’s Ministry of Enterprise and Labour, in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network, the world’s largest business support network.

The MWC Open Innovation Challenge 2026 brings together corporates, investors, startups and technology providers to co-create innovative solutions addressing real-world technological challenges/needs, within the framework of MWC / 4YFN Barcelona.

Participants may choose to attend physically, online, or both, according to their availability.

Physical

  • B2B meetings: Date: 2–5 March 2026
  • Location: 4YFN Congress, Barcelona (ACCIÓ Stand, Hall 8)
  • Physical meetings will take place exclusively between corporates (challenge owners) and technology/solution providers.

Online 

  • B2B meetings: Date: 9–13 March 2026
  • Location: Held via the b2match platform

Interested businesses are invited to register on the HERE as technology or solution providers and complete their company profile.

Registration instructions:

  1. Only one participant per company may register on the platform (additional company representatives may attend meetings).
  2. Create a clear and concise company profile, including a short pitch, biography and technological skills.
  3. Select your availability for physical meetings, online meetings, or both.
  4. Once the profile is validated, participants may start requesting meetings with corporates whose challenges/needs align with their technological capabilities.
  5. Final meeting acceptance and scheduling are decided by the challenge-owning corporates who have published their challenges/needs.
