Training Programme – Get Ready for Japan 2025

We would like to inform you that the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation has  announced the first session of its training on Japanese business culture for 2025.

Since 1987, this exclusive 2-week long training programme funded by the European Union helped hundreds of EU entrepreneurs to have a successful presence in Japan.

The programme “Get Ready for Japan” aims to help understand Japanese business practices and communication styles as well as help SMEs identify opportunities for successful business partnerships.

Training dates:

• 20-24 October 2025 – online
• 10-14 November 2025 – in Tokyo, Japan

Application deadline: 4 September 2025

• tailored meetings with potential new partners

Participant Profile

• Managers and executives, from small and medium-sized enterprises based in the EU
• The mission is open to any kind of sector of activity.

Selection Criteria

• The company’s strategy towards Japan.
• The applicant’s professional background and position within the company.
• The applicant’s motivation.

To ensure a high degree of personal attention, the number of participants in the programme is limited to 14. A selection process will be held after the application deadline.

Costs

• The EU-Japan Centre will cover all the training fees: speakers, room rental, transportation for group activities, interpreters and organisation of meetings.
