We would like to inform you that Commissioner Hansen will visit Thailand from May 24- 28, 2026, accompanied by a business delegation that will include up to 100 senior executives from European companies and agricultural and food sector producer organizations.
This mission will combine official meetings of the Commissioner with government officials, as well as promotional activities involving the business delegation. These activities will include:
- Seminars on local market characteristics and consumer trends
- Retail and site visits
- Networking opportunities
- Participation in the Thaifex Anuga Asia fair in Bangkok, where the EU will host a dedicated pavilion
- Visit to the pavilion
- Targeted B2B meetings with buyers, importers and retailers from the South-East Asian region
The entrepreneurs participating in the mission should primarily, but not exclusively, represent the following sectors:
- Meat production, processing, and selling (beef, pork, poultry)
- Processed agricultural products
- Dairy products
- Wine, beer, and alcoholic beverages
- Olive oil
- Fruits and vegetables
The Commissioner wishes to include companies from all EU Member States in the business delegation, focusing particularly on SMEs with reliable export capacity, as well as large companies, and national and European producer organizations from key sectors with significant prospects for trade and cooperation with Thailand.

- Accompanying members may attend, but their access to certain events may be restricted due to the size of the mission.
