We would like to inform you that the European Commission has launched a public consultation on shaping the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). Your input is valuable as the consultation focuses on the Single Market and cooperation between national authorities.
The current Multiannual financial framework – the EU’s long-term budget – runs until the end of 2027.
The European Commission has published this consultation to gather data and views that will help shape the next MFF, which will start in 2028.
The short questionnaire for the consultation focuses on EU funds supporting the Single Market and cooperation among national authorities. Stakeholder input is essential to assess existing funding programs, draw lessons from the past, and formulate a more targeted, simpler, and efficient budget reflecting the EU’s strategic priorities.

In this context, the European Commission is launching a series of public consultations to gather views on the best use of the EU budget. These consultations will cover various policy areas, such as cohesion policy, agriculture, and home affairs, aiming to create a more effective and efficient budget. The Commission’s proposals are expected in 2025.
