Two new calls for proposals of €6 million for the support of Cypriot enterprises

“Research in Enterprises”: The aim is to intensify the participation of Cypriot businesses in R&I activities, with a budget specifically for businesses without prior essential participation.

We would like to inform you that the Research and Innovation Foundation of Cyprus (RIF) has announced two new calls with a total budget of €6 million, thus continuing its practical support to the Research and Innovation ecosystem of Cyprus.

The calls are part of the “Research in Enterprises” Program of the Research and Innovation Foundation of Cyprus and are an opportunity for SMEs and large Cypriot businesses to create new or substantially improved products, services or methods of production of high-added value. The ultimate aim of the Program is to intensify the participation of Cypriot enterprises in Research & Innovation activities.

To enhance the capacity of a greater number of enterprises to innovate, a budget of €1 million will be allocated to enterprises that have not previously submitted proposals as Contractors to the Foundation under the Foundation’s R&I Programs.

The maximum funding per project is €200.000.

The Submission of Proposals is made through the IRIS gate of the RIF and the deadline is April 24th, 2023 at 13:00. It is noted that the calls are funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility of the Next Generation EU.
