The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is organizing an information and training event within the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and EE4SMEs European projects. The aim is to strengthen the sustainability and green transition of Cypriot Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
The event is primarily addressed to businesses operating in the sectors of food production, metal processing, and hospitality/catering, while participation from other sectors is also welcome. Its objective is to provide practical insights on:
- The need for compliance with ESG criteria (Environment, Social, Governance)
- The new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and its implications for SMEs
- The importance of having an Energy Policy – ways to improve energy efficiency and available green technological solutions (e.g. Energy Audits, Life Cycle Cost Analysis -LCCA, Energy Management Systems – EMS, EEN platform)
- Presentation of best practices, including the use of the IMPAWATT platform, with a self-assessment tool and suggestions of targeted and practical improvement solutions
- Available funding tools for green investments
