The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), as coordinator of EEN Cyprus, would like to inform you about an upcoming webinar organised within the framework of the “Embracing Global Markets” webinar series, which supports European SMEs and start-ups in innovation and international expansion into markets in Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
The series is organised by experts from various European Commission services and the Enterprise Europe Network, the world’s largest business support network.
The webinar will take place online on 27 May 2026, from 15:00 – 17:00 Cyprus time.

Objectives of the webinar
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is one of the most important regulatory frameworks affecting global value chains and international trade.
Beyond environmental compliance requirements, the regulation directly affects:
- internationalisation strategies,
- supply chain management,
- risk management,
- as well as business resilience and competitiveness.
The webinar aims to:
- Increase SMEs’ awareness and understanding of the EUDR and its importance for international trade
- Present the requirements of the regulation and the businesses affected
